¶ 01 When our Hon. Ajith P. Perera asked, no answer was given. If that is the case, there is no need for us to bring a Vote of No-confidence on Friday.

¶ 02 I will move to the next matter. The Government has today presented a Motion at the time of adjournment. What is that motion? It is about the war situation in the Middle East. Hon. Presiding Member, did a war zone in the Middle East come from Mars? I watched to see if anyone here would say that the war situation unlawfully created by America and Israel runs counter to all agreements established by the United Nations. Not a single member of this Government opened their mouth to say it. Why so afraid? The Member who brought the motion did not say it, nor did the Member who seconded it. I listened word for word. They were afraid even to utter a single word. Why?

¶ 03 Hon. Presiding Member, Iran’s leaders have made the global Muslim Ummah stand with pride. Today, the world owes that nation and its people a debt of gratitude. Yesterday, they stood as a human chain, ready to sacrifice their lives, submitting to leadership, for their country, their dignity, and their sovereignty. Seeing that sacrifice by the Iranian people, we feel ashamed, because we have done nothing for them. Though we are part of the global Muslim Ummah, a sense of guilt that we did nothing against injustice torments us. Did we at least observe a fast for them? Did our Ulema give us any guidance on this? They too remain silent to please America, lowering their self-respect. I caution such countries, particularly some Muslim countries, that lower their dignity to please America.

¶ 04 Hon. Presiding Member, please give me a minute!

¶ 05 A day will come when the same America will abandon you. Then, countries like Iran will come forward for you, and at that time you will bow your heads in shame. Even this Government says with words that Iran is a friendly nation, but on the other hand it gives every cooperation to America and Mossad.

¶ 06 Sir, give me half a minute, please. Even though there are eight Muslim Members in this Government, to date they have not been able to condemn America and Mossad. I am ashamed. However, I do not give up; I say the Almighty Allah will protect us, and I conclude. Thank you!
