¶ 01 Hon. Deputy Speaker, I will look into that. In some PMCU, though equipment has been provided, there are issues in posting medical officers and staff. Under the successor PHSEP project (Phase II of PSSP), we intend to allocate funds to address such needs across PMCU and divisional hospitals with PMCU units.

¶ 03 CONSTRUCTION OF SWIMMING POOL AT PRESIDENT’S COLLEGE, MINUWANGODA: DELAY

¶ 04 10. The Hon. Ruwanthilaka Jayakody asked the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education:

¶ 05 (a) Will she inform this House — (i) the date on which the construction of the swimming pool at the President’s College, Minuwangoda was commenced; (ii) the estimated cost and the amount spent so far, separately; (iii) whether the unspent balance is deposited in a project account; and (iv) if so, the name and number of that account?

¶ 06 (b) Will she also inform this House — (i) the name of the contractor/contractor company; (ii) the basis of selection; (iii) the proportion of work completed; (iv) the time required to fully complete; and (v) the reasons for delay?
