¶ 04 Hon. Members, I have received the following Message from His Excellency the President. In terms of the provisions of Article 21(2) read with Article 2(3) of the Public Security Ordinance, I hereby inform the House of the Public Security Proclamation.

¶ 06 Seating Arrangement During Committee Stage

¶ 07 Since the debate in Committee of Supply on the Appropriation Bill for the year 2025 is scheduled to commence today, 27th February 2025, I wish to bring to the attention of all Hon. Members the rules regarding seating in the Chamber during the full Committee of the Whole Parliament. Traditionally during the Committee Stage on the Budget, a State Minister may sit near his or her Cabinet Minister; however, speeches must only be made from the Member’s allotted seat.

¶ 08 Meeting of Committee on Parliamentary Business

¶ 09 I wish to kindly inform all Hon. Members that a meeting of the Committee on Parliamentary Business will be held today, Thursday, 27th February 2025, at 11.00 a.m., in Committee Room No. 02B.
