Hon. Shanakiyan Rajaputhiran Rasamanickam

Hon. Shanakiyan Rajaputhiran Rasamanickam requested additional time as the sole Opposition speaker and said his remarks were intended to raise constructive issues rather than merely criticize. He suggested that certain local-level dealings may be occurring without NPP leaders’ knowledge, and referred to his earlier comments on doping in the context of obstacles preventing youth from developing and participating in international tournaments. He objected to being personally labelled “Nil Balakaya” in response to those points.
