¶ 05 (iii) Measures: - Replace weak-performing depot managers with capable managers; - Operate maximum scheduled runs; - Increase bus deployment; - Passenger awareness to minimize fraud; - Revise salaries to improve staff motivation; - Staff training and awareness programmes; - Set daily revenue targets for each depot; - Efficient fuel management; - Continuous quality checks on purchased items; - Control expenditure to align with depot income with clear procedures and guidance; - Use monthly accounts for forward management; - Promote ancillary commercial activities from depots; - Digitalization.

¶ 06 (iv) Total buses owned – 7,137.

¶ 07 (v) In operation – 5,182; withdrawn from operation – 1,955.

¶ 08 (vi) Reasons for withdrawal: - Lack of tyres, tubes and batteries; - Lack of spare parts; - Undergoing major overhauls; - Under repair after accidents; - Minor mechanical defects being rectified; - Body repairs underway; - Major repairs underway; - Economically unviable to repair.

¶ 09 (vii) Yes. Total employees – 25,384.

¶ 10 (b) (i) Railway stations – 185; Sub-stations – 164 (as at 12.03.2025).

¶ 11 (ii) In operation: - Double-engine power sets – 27 - Single power sets – 28 - Locomotive-hauled trains – 48

¶ 12 Withdrawn from operation – 116 (for repairs).

¶ 13 (iii) Reasons – under repair/overhaul and related maintenance requirements.
