¶ 01 Hon. Speaker, on behalf of the Minister of Health and Mass Media, I answer:

¶ 02 (a) (i) 2021.07.09. (ii) The following officers were taken into custody in connection with the deletion: - Name: Tharindra (EPIC Lanka) — Designation: Executive Officer at the Institution — Address: No. 10/10, Darshana Mawatha, Maharagama — Date taken into custody: 2021.08.09. - Name: Ramanayaka Arachchige Don Pramod Dilupa Ramanayaka — Designation: Assistant Engineer, Customer Services, EPIC Lanka — Address: No. 207/5/2, Perakadoru Watta, Heeralugedara, Chathurawila — Date taken into custody: 2021.09.28. (iii) No. However, it is possible that such opportunities could arise. (iv) Based on the complaint made by the NMRA on 2021.07.22, a case is being heard in the Chief Magistrate’s Court of Colombo under Case No. 54645/01/21, conducted by the Digital Forensics Laboratory of the Criminal Investigation Department. The second suspect, an Assistant Engineer (Customer Services) of EPIC Lanka, Ramanayaka Arachchige Don Pramod Dilupa Ramanayaka, has given a handwritten statement admitting the deletion occurred due to his actions. The original note is to be produced for examination, and statements from the institution’s Chief of Human Resources and the technical team, including the Chief Engineer and a Technical Assistant, have been recorded. Digital devices obtained from suspects have been referred, under court order, to the Government Analyst’s Department Digital Forensics Laboratory for reports. System snapshots have been referred to specialist academics at the University of Moratuwa for reporting. As these analyses have not yet been received, investigations are not concluded.
