¶ 01 Question to the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education:

¶ 02 (a) Will she admit that - (i) there is a National School known as Kili/Kilinochchi Central College in the Karachchi Divisional Secretary’s Division of the Kilinochchi District; (ii) the standard of education in the above school, which is one of the two National Schools in the Kilinochchi District, has now declined; (iii) there exist vacancies for both academic and non-academic staff and a shortage of resources, including furniture, at the school; and (iv) the standard of education for the students cannot be improved without filling the vacancies referred to above?

¶ 03 (b) Will she inform this House - (i) separately, the number of the principal, deputy principals, teachers and non-academic staff serving at present in the above school; (ii) the reasons for not filling the vacancies in the non-academic staff of the above school to date; (iii) the date on which all the vacancies in the said school will be completely filled; and (iv) the dates on which the needs related to the buildings and furniture of the above school will be fulfilled?
