¶ 01 Hon. Minister, I wish to raise some points. As you said, that policy was not based on medical science, violated international conventions, and cruelly targeted an ethnic and religious community. We proposed that the Government should pay compensation to families who suffered due to forced cremations. This compensation is very important. Please draw the Government’s attention to this. We accept that your Government did not do it, but it was a cruel, despicable act targeting a particular ethnicity and religion. I urge the Minister to initiate a program to provide compensation accordingly.
