Some paid Rs. 38 million for three stalls; one person holding 33 stalls has allegedly paid Rs. 420 million. How is that possible in Mahiyangana? There appears to be a massive financial scam. Fairness must be ensured for stallholders. In Kasun Supermarket, 10 stalls reportedly belong to the same person. In the town, 43 stalls are under one Nihal Ratdella of Homagama—names suppressed on some documents.
