¶ 01 Mr. Speaker, my second supplementary question is this: Ensuring the efficient dispensation of justice in both civil and criminal spheres requires timely appointments to the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. There are five vacancies in the Supreme Court and three in the Court of Appeal. Last week, the main news was the severe delays in justice due to these vacancies. The responsibility lies with the President; until he makes nominations, the Constitutional Council cannot consider them. Will the Hon. Minister engage the President to expedite filling these eight vacancies and submit nominations to the Constitutional Council?
