¶ 01 Question to the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education:

¶ 02 (a) (i) The number of employees on the personal staff of the present Speaker, their official designations, and their educational qualifications, separately;

¶ 03 (ii) Whether the “Speaker’s Residence” is used as the official residence of the Speaker; and

¶ 04 (iii) The number of employees appointed by the Speaker to the aforesaid official residence, their names, positions, and educational qualifications.

¶ 05 (b) (i) The number of vehicles provided for the use of the Speaker and his staff;

¶ 06 (ii) Separately, as per each aforesaid vehicle, the registration number, the model, and the monthly fuel quota; and

¶ 07 (iii) The procedure by which the fuel is procured for the aforementioned vehicles.

¶ 08 (c) (i) Whether the Speaker has used an apartment within the apartment complex belonging to the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government located at Lauries Lane, Colombo 04;

¶ 09 (ii) Whether the aforesaid house is still being used; and

¶ 10 (iii) The responsible parties for the payment of rent, electricity and water bills of the aforesaid house.

¶ 11 (d) If not, why?
