¶ 01 Please do not interfere in what you do not know. They were released and distributed properly to poor mosques, not to friends.

¶ 02 They claimed I was involved—both here and outside. Then the best course is to go to any police or court and give evidence for 60 hours if needed and put me in jail. Mr. Deputy Speaker, what has happened? They lied here. First, they blamed the Western Province Governor; later it was proven false. Then they caught someone else falsely. Now they should go and lodge complaints and provide information. Out of those 323 containers, I have not released a single one; I have no such power; and I have not done so. I act strictly within my legal limits—and even then, I did not do this. Now what is happening? They grabbed media channels and used Parliamentary Privilege to lie—claiming even Prabhakaran’s weapons were there. Whether said inside or outside, these are serious claims. If you speak the truth, fine; otherwise admit “we lied.” Either accept you lied, or cooperate with investigations. If not, this becomes a national problem. Having told lies, you are now trapped by them. Therefore, we ask Opposition MPs to go to whatever police and give evidence, even for 60 hours, and make us accused if you can. Do not continue baseless allegations or waste Parliament’s time.
