¶ 02 Flyovers and Road Tunnels Constructed: Money Spent

¶ 03 955/2025 8. The Hon. Sujeewa Dissanayake asked the Minister of Transport, Highways, Ports and Civil Aviation:

¶ 04 (a) Will he inform this House, separately— (i) the number of flyovers constructed across highways, flyovers constructed across railways and road tunnels constructed in Sri Lanka; and (ii) the amount that has been spent on their construction?

¶ 05 (b) Will he also inform this House— (i) the number of flyovers constructed in the Kurunegala District; (ii) the locations where those flyovers have been constructed; (iii) whether it has been proposed to construct a flyover across the Maho Junction on the Northern Railway Line; (iv) whether a ceremony had been organized to commence construction of that flyover during the period from 2004 to 2014; (v) if so, the expenditure that the ceremony incurred; and (vi) whether steps will be taken in future to construct the said flyover?
