Speaker, I move that the Regulation made by the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development under Section 12 of the Finance Act, No. 12 of 2013, to be read with the provisions of the Finance Act, No. 12 of 2012, published in Gazette Extraordinary No. 2411/56 of 22.11.2024 and presented on 14.02.2025, be approved. ¶ 04 Inland Revenue Act: Resolution

¶ 05 Hon. Speaker, I move that this Parliament resolves to approve the Protocol, presented on 20.02.2025, amending the Agreement between the Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Government of the Republic of India for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income, which Agreement was approved by Parliament on 26.07.2013 and published in Gazette Extraordinary No. 1828/9 of 17.09.2013.
