¶ 01 Mr. Speaker, while the Hon. Minister is in the Chamber, I request a statement to the House about the power cuts.

¶ 02 The entire country is asking whether there will be power shedding this Sunday as well. Today everyone is watching. Political vendettas are occurring. Secretaries have been put into pools; District Secretaries too have been put into pools. Foreign investors are leaving our country. We say that in such a situation everything must function transparently and competitively. There is no problem with that. However, foreign investors are leaving today. There are power interruptions. What is the solution? There is a risk of power cuts this Sunday. Particularly, if solar generation and the industrial load on Sunday are lower, what happens? There is a risk of power outages. Therefore, I wish to ask the Hon. Minister: what solution will you provide? Please make a statement. The public expects a statement on the reasons for the outages and the measures you are taking. Will you open factories anew on Sunday to align demand and supply so that instability is avoided? Saying this is due to “repairs” or “children” is not an answer. Please provide an answer, Hon. Minister. The entire country is watching.
