¶ 01 asked the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports: (a) Will he inform this House - (i) the number of national-level stadiums available in the Northern and the Eastern Provinces; (ii) the location of each such stadium, separately; (iii) whether he is aware that arrangements had been made to develop the Mc Heyzer Stadium in the Trincomalee District as a national-level stadium, but the excavation activities pertaining to that were suspended owing to the discovery of human bone fragments during the excavations; (iv) whether steps have been taken to resume the said excavation activities that were suspended; and (v) whether steps will be taken to develop the Mc Heyzer Stadium into an international-level cricket stadium? (b) If not, why?
