¶ 01 Hon. Member, you are mistaken. The Russian grant fertilizer has not yet been released. What you refer to is something else. We will provide fertilizer for coconut landowners with less than five acres, islandwide. A total of 56,700 metric tons are being packed now and will be distributed by the end of this month, via an application process for those under five acres. On whitefly and also the Weligama leaf wilt, funds have been allocated to the Coconut Research Institute. We also need public participation; with our limited staff we cannot do everything. The government will bear some costs; the owners must also act. We will specifically look into the Batticaloa matter you raised.
