¶ 01 Hon. Deputy Speaker, I present the -

¶ 02 (i) Order made by the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development under Section 22 of the Foreign Exchange Act, No. 12 of 2017 and published in Gazette Extraordinary No. 2415/56 of 19th December, 2024;

¶ 03 (ii) Regulations made by the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development under Section 20 of the Imports and Exports (Control) Act, No. 1 of 1969 amended by Acts, No. 48 of 1985 and No. 28 of 1987 read with Sections 4(1) and 14 of the aforesaid Act and published in Gazette Extraordinary No. 2415/35 of 18th December, 2024; and

¶ 04 (iii) Regulations made by the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development under Section 20 of the Imports and Exports (Control) Act, No. 1 of 1969 amended by Acts, No. 48 of 1985 and No. 28 of 1987 read with Sections 4(1) and 14 of the aforesaid Act and published in Gazette Extraordinary No. 2416/11 of 24th December, 2024.

¶ 05 I move that the Order and the Regulations be referred to the Committee on Public Finance.

¶ 06 Question put, and agreed to.

¶ 07 Sir, I present the Report on the submission of observations and steps taken in terms of Standing Order 119(4) of Parliament with regard to the matters mentioned on the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development and the institutes coming under its purview in the Report of the Committee on Public Accounts, which was presented to Parliament.

¶ 08 I move that this Report be referred to the Committee on Public Accounts.
