¶ 01 Prevention of Money Laundering (Amendment) Bill: Determination of the Supreme Court received under Article 121(1). The Supreme Court has determined that the Bill may be passed by a simple majority of Parliament, except Clause 14 [proposed Section 12A(b)] and Clause 18 [proposed Sections 17A, 17B and 17C], which shall be passed by a special majority. Those Clauses, too, may be passed by a simple majority if amended as proposed by the Court. I order that the Determination be printed in the Official Report of today's Proceedings.

¶ 02 Speaker’s Certificate: In terms of Article 79 of the Constitution, I certify that on 03 June 2026, I endorsed the certificate on the Bill titled “Inland Revenue (Amendment).”

¶ 03 Workshop on Monetary Policy and Exchange Rate: Pursuant to the decision of the Committee on Parliamentary Business on 01.06.2026, a workshop by the Governor of the Central Bank and officials will be held on 10 June 2026 from 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. in Committee Room No. 016. All Hon. Members are invited.

¶ 04 Programme for Hon. Members jointly organized by Parliament, HDP and CBO: Sessions will be conducted in Parliament from 09 to 12 June 2026. All Hon. Members are invited to participate.
