¶ 02 (a) (i) Yes. (ii) According to the preliminary socio-economic survey by UN-Habitat, 93 structures (residential and non-residential) were identified; 83 are being treated as residential. (iii) Houses have been approved for 75 affected family units. Additionally, for 8 units, grievances must be placed before the Grievance Redress Committee for recommendations on occupancy, and then before the Entitlement Assessment Committee. (iv) No. From the outset, resettlement of unauthorized occupants from Edirisinghe Road to Navinna was planned at the UDA Colombage Mawatha Phase II housing complex. However, due to construction delays there and project time constraints, allocation from that complex could not be made. Therefore, arrangements are being made to provide housing from the Chinese-aided housing project complexes being constructed in the Maharagama–Kottawa area.
