¶ 01 Question to the Minister of Housing, Construction and Water Supply:

¶ 02 Low-income, middle-income, rural, estate and urban underserved categories: provision of houses.

¶ 03 (a) (i) the officially assessed national housing deficit as at 2026, disaggregated by low-income, middle-income, rural, estate and urban underserved categories, separately; (ii) the projected unit delivery target for 2026-2029 and estimated average construction cost per unit by housing type; (iii) the proportion of beneficiaries below the National Median Household income; (iv) whether affordability has been benchmarked against prevailing mortgage rates, inflation and construction cost escalation; (v) the objective eligibility criteria and digital verification systems applied in beneficiary selection; (vi) the number of allocation decisions during 2024-2025 that were reviewed, appealed or cancelled due to irregularities; (vii) whether a transparent, publicly accessible beneficiary registry is in place to prevent politicization and duplication; (viii) whether a middle-class housing scheme is being implemented; and (ix) if so, its location and expected completion date of the scheme? (b) If not, why?
