¶ 01 Question to the Minister of Housing, Construction and Water Supply:

¶ 02 High-rise housing complexes under NHDA and urban regeneration programmes: lifts and maintenance.

¶ 03 (a) (i) the number of Government-constructed high-rise housing complexes under the NHDA or related urban regeneration programmes currently occupied; (ii) the total number of lifts installed in such complexes, lifts presently inoperative and the average downtime per lift during 2025; (iii) the total maintenance allocation for 2024 and 2025 and the amount actually utilized each year; (iv) whether maintenance contracts were awarded through competitive procurement and if any were terminated due to non-performance; (v) whether independent structural and fire-safety audits have been conducted since 2023; (vi) if so, whether the findings will be tabled in Parliament; (vii) contingency measures for elderly and disabled residents when lifts remain inoperative for extended periods; and (viii) whether any building has been declared unsafe, partially condemned or in need of urgent capital rehabilitation? (b) If not, why?
