¶ 05 The Minuwangoda Development Plan covering this area of jurisdiction is currently being prepared. Until the said plan comes into operation, the Minuwangoda Draft Zoning Plan approved by the Director General of the Urban Development Authority is being implemented.

¶ 06 Katunayake-Seeduwa Urban Council and Katana Pradeshiya Sabha

¶ 07 The draft of the Katana Development Plan (2024-2033), prepared covering the above areas of jurisdiction, received the approval of the Principal Planning Committee of the Urban Development Authority on 16.11.2023. At present, it has been referred to the relevant local authorities and the Katana Divisional Coordinating Committee to obtain their observations and recommendations.

¶ 09 The Negombo Development Plan (2021-2030) for the above area of jurisdiction was published via Extraordinary Gazette dated 30.03.2021 and has been legally brought into operation.
