¶ 04 In terms of Article 79 of the Constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, I wish to inform the House that on 06th March, 2026, I endorsed the certificates on the “Poisons, Opium and Dangerous Drugs (Amendment)” Bill and the “Judicature (Amendment)” Bill.

¶ 05 Workshop Conducted by SLCERT

¶ 06 In line with the Government’s Information and Communication Technology policy, with a focus on cyber security awareness, safe digital usage, leadership accountability and sectoral responsibility, a workshop titled “Confronting Cyber Threats in the Digital Age” conducted by the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team (SLCERT) will be held for all Hon. Members of Parliament today from 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. in Committee Room No. 1. I invite Hon. Members to participate.

¶ 08 A meeting of the Committee on Parliamentary Business will be held today, Tuesday, 17th March, 2026 at 11.45 a.m. in Committee Room No. 2. All Hon. Members of the Committee are requested to attend.
