¶ 01 ECONOMIC CENTRES: DETAILS 860/2025

¶ 02 5. The Hon. Susantha Kumara Nawarathna asked the Minister of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Co-operative Development:

¶ 03 (a) Will he inform this House— (i) the number of economic centres established in Sri Lanka; (ii) out of the above-mentioned centres, the number of those in operation and those not in operation at present, separately; (iii) whether he is aware that there is an economic centre in Medawachchiya; (iv) the date on which the above-mentioned economic centre was opened; (v) the amount of money spent on the construction of the above-mentioned centre; (vi) the number of trade stalls available in that centre; and (vii) the number of those that are currently open for business, out of the above-mentioned stalls? (b) If not, why?
