¶ 01 Hon. Presiding Member, on behalf of the Minister of Finance at the 2026 Committee Stage, I move the following amendment for the Ministry of Energy:

¶ 02 On page 20, delete lines 19 and 20 and substitute: - Programme 01 — Operational Activities: Recurrent Rs. 706,000,000; Capital Rs. 36,000,000. - Programme 02 — Development Activities: Recurrent Rs. 260,000,000; Capital Rs. 21,371,000,000.

¶ 03 (Note: The purpose is to transfer Rs. 36,000,000 of recurrent and Rs. 7,000,000 of capital from Head 240 — Department of National Budget — to Head 119 — Energy; and, pursuant to Gazette Extraordinary No. 2458/65 of 18.10.2025, to transfer Rs. 170,000,000 recurrent and Rs. 600,000,000 capital relating to the Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Board and the Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Regulatory Council from Head 119 — Minister of Energy — to the Ministry of Science and Technology.)

¶ 04 Question put: “That the increased sum of Rs. 706,000,000 for Head 119, Programme 01, Recurrent Expenditure, be inserted in the Schedule” — agreed to.

¶ 05 Head 119, Programme 01, Recurrent Expenditure, as amended, ordered to stand part of the Schedule.

¶ 06 Question put: “That the increased sum of Rs. 36,000,000 for Head 119, Programme 01, Capital Expenditure, be inserted in the Schedule” — agreed to.

¶ 07 Head 119, Programme 01, Capital Expenditure, as amended, ordered to stand part of the Schedule.

¶ 08 Question put: “That the decreased sum of Rs. 260,000,000 for Head 119, Programme 02, Recurrent Expenditure, be inserted in the Schedule” — agreed to.

¶ 10 Question put: “That the decreased sum of Rs. 21,371,000,000 for Head 119, Programme 02, Capital Expenditure, be inserted in the Schedule” — agreed to.
