¶ 01 Hon. Speaker, various issues arise with current vehicle use. Accordingly, in many districts, arrangements are being made through the District Secretaries to allocate vehicles from a pool. I also wish to state: when the Government moved to purchase over 1,700 new vehicles, some alleged that these were for the 225 MPs. In fact, not only for MPs, but also for Government institutions such as Divisional Secretariats and departments—especially in agriculture, livestock, land and local authorities—serious vehicle issues exist. Many vehicles in these places are 20, 25, even 30 years old. Therefore, we are proceeding to purchase new vehicles. We will pay attention to your point and provide facilities where problems exist.
