[Unnamed Minister - Ministry of Women and Child Affairs]

¶ 01 The proposal is indeed very important. As a Ministry, we will certainly give this our attention. However, as the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs, this is not an issue where we can intervene alone. As I see it, we have a collective responsibility here, bringing all institutions together. Accordingly, officials from the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government; the Ministry of Education; our Ministry of Women and Child Affairs; and the Ministry of Rural Development, Social Security and Community Empowerment, together with relevant officials from Provincial Councils and local authorities, should convene in one place and build a dialogue on this matter. Through that dialogue, we should prepare an appropriate course of action. That is the proposal being made here.

¶ 02 Hon. Member, I would like to especially thank our Hon. Member for bringing this proposal forward. As a Ministry, we will continue to discuss this matter while engaging with other institutions. There are institutions that can assist us in this regard; UN agencies are there. They are willing to help us, and we can discuss this matter with them. There are also various private institutions that can intervene. While expressing my thanks to the Hon. Member for presenting this proposal, I state that, as a Ministry, we will discuss with all those who come forward to assist us and prepare a work plan, making the necessary interventions accordingly. With that, I conclude my remarks.
