¶ 01 Improvement of Health Facilities for Persons with Disabilities: Steps Taken

¶ 02 asked the Minister of Health and Mass Media: (a) Will he inform this House - (i) the measures taken within the health sector to ensure the health and well-being of persons with disabilities; (ii) the actions taken to provide facilities enabling them to access clinic and other services; (iii) the procedures in place to identify persons with disabilities and grant them priority when accessing medical institutions; and (iv) the steps taken to enhance professional and attitudinal competencies of officers providing health services to persons with disabilities? (b) Will he also inform this House - (i) the technical strategies adopted to address the health issues of persons with disabilities; (ii) the measures taken to use modern technology to improve health support facilities; (iii) the steps taken to implement a programme to provide financial assistance for medicines and investigations; and (iv) the measures taken to ensure equal access to services?
