¶ 01 Hon. Nalin Bandara Jayamaha, as you described, the previous governments’ report cards show that, within a broken economy, institutional inefficiency and lack of proper financial provisions prevented success. As you noted, the Surveys Department and many related agencies have lost experienced personnel; many left even the country. There is no overnight solution. We are preparing the necessary program and allocating resources to push this forward as fast as possible, with strong commitment. We also look to involve provincial stakeholders and motivate officials to drive the program forward.
