¶ 01 Hon. Member, we have formulated a special programme and a new Cabinet Memorandum—about 99% complete. It covers: - Those who retired after 55 and later obtained disability percentage recommendations from Medical Boards; - Those who retired before 55 and obtained disability percentages after 55; - Personnel disabled due to terrorist activities with varying service lengths (5, 12, 20, 22 years), including those discharged or who left service before 55 and later faced Medical Boards; - Those who became disabled during conflict and were absent without leave.

¶ 02 We also obtained special Cabinet approval on 14.07.2025 to appoint a special committee to resolve issues of disabled, deceased, widows, active and non-active personnel, and others affected but not directly linked to operations, across Tri-Forces, Police and STF. Your concerns will be addressed, and the aim is to resolve these within this year.
