¶ 01 Question No. 1013/2025 to the Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs regarding financial cybercrime details.

¶ 02 (a) Will he inform this House— (i) the number of financial cybercrime cases currently pending before courts, under investigation, with legal action being taken and resolved, separately by province and year; (ii) the average time taken to investigate and prosecute such cases; (iii) whether dedicated cybercrime investigation units with expertise in financial fraud have been established in all provinces; (iv) the Government’s stance on the use of advanced technologies such as AI-based fraud detection systems for investigating financial cybercrimes; and (v) the steps the Government has taken to prevent financial cybercrimes, including collaboration with financial institutions and the use of advanced technologies such as AI-based fraud detection systems? (b) If not, why?
