¶ 01 Appropriation Act: Resolution

¶ 02 On behalf of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education, I move:

¶ 03 “That this Parliament resolves that, in terms of the powers vested in the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies under Section 8 of the Appropriation Act, No. 3 of 2025, and with the approval of the Government, the Determination bearing No. 37 made by the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies be approved; namely, to amend specified limits under Head 21302 ‘Books Printing, Promotion and Sales – Deposit Account – Department of Publications’ as follows:

¶ 04 - Column II (Maximum Limit of Expenditure): from Rs. 14,500,000,000 to Rs. 9,000,000,000 - Column III (Minimum Limit of Receipts): from Rs. 14,500,000,000 to Rs. 5,000,000,000 - Column IV (Maximum Limit of Debit Balance): Not applicable - Column V (Maximum Limit of Liabilities): from Rs. 10,000,000,000 to Rs. 3,000,000,000
