¶ 02 (a) (i) and (ii) Yes.

¶ 03 In the Galewela Divisional Secretary’s Division, except for the lands and properties belonging to the Bambawa Rajamaha Viharaya, possession of other lands and properties of the public has been taken over.

¶ 04 (As per Extraordinary Gazette No. 2126/52 of 06 June 2019 of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, under the interim order made under Section 38(a) of the Land Acquisition Act, the lands described in Order No. 109 of 2019 have fully vested in the State.)

¶ 05 In the Dambulla Divisional Secretary’s Division, lawful possession has been taken of a portion of the lands and properties of the Dambulla Rajamaha Viharaya and portions of lands and properties of the public.

¶ 06 (As per Extraordinary Gazette No. 2126/52 of 06 June 2019, under the interim order made under Section 38(a) of the Land Acquisition Act, the lands described in Order No. 109 of 2019 have fully vested in the State.)

¶ 07 (b) (i) Yes.

¶ 08 (ii) A joint Cabinet Memorandum was submitted by the Ministry of Lands on 12.12.2024. No decision has yet been received thereon.

¶ 09 (iii) To be decided based on the Cabinet decision to be received on the said joint Cabinet Memorandum.

¶ 10 (iv) To be decided based on the Cabinet decision to be received on the said joint Cabinet Memorandum.
