¶ 01 Alright. I will conclude in two minutes.

¶ 02 If there is a main road that is frequently flooded, it is the Eravur Main Road. I request the allocation of funds to repair that road and the road known as the Railway Station Road there. There are still no signal lights in Eravur town. I request the Hon. Minister to allocate funds for that as well.

¶ 03 Next, I wish to make a request to the Hon. Minister Kumar Jayakody, who is responsible for “Daytee.” I spoke about this at the last Ministerial Consultative Committee meeting. Near the Eravur railway station, there is a plot of land. We need to construct a permanent building there for the Eravur Daytee. The railway station area is often flooded. If the building is put up at a suitable location to resolve that, services can be delivered efficiently. That land belongs to Railways near the Eravur National Water Supply and Drainage Board. Hon. Minister, please consider this matter as well.

¶ 04 Further, there are various deficiencies at the Puttalam Base Hospital. Due to lack of time, I cannot elaborate. However, I request the relevant Minister in this august House to address the staffing shortages there. Thank you for the opportunity. Wassalaam!
