¶ 01 We are reviewing such allocations. Where lands have not been used for the approved development purposes, we are proceeding to repossess them. Where politicians, associates, or others have used forged documents to secure lands, appropriate action will be taken. These are public lands; in a context where many young families cannot afford even 10 perches, unlawful capture of State lands over the past decades is unacceptable. We request Members to forward coordination committee findings and evidence from their areas to the Ministry; we will take maximum transparent action to regularize and protect these lands.
