¶ 01 Hon. Speaker, similar issues have occurred in this type of school. When complaints were made, we intervened not only for incidents relevant to that time but also regarding earlier incidents. In particular, in the Southern Province, we have made such interventions in other schools as well. We have that capacity. Likewise, schools themselves have regulatory responsibilities. Especially in admissions, the circulars must be properly followed and the school must be run accordingly. Otherwise, the Ministry of Education will directly intervene, as we did in the Matara District. I wish to assure the Hon. Member that we are acting decisively in this regard.
