¶ 01 Very well, Hon. Presiding Member. I will conclude with these points.

¶ 02 It was also told to one of Zahran’s associates that “your leaders are in pieces in Colombo today.” That means Pillayan knew how this attack would unfold. We told the people of this country — especially the Christian community — that we would present the truth about this attack to society. We are doing that. We have been in power only for six to seven months. But within that time we have acted. We assumed responsibility. We gave promises. We are now fulfilling those promises, one by one. We can now see what the linkages are, who the groups are behind those linkages, and what connections exist among them. We can see where the lair is. We can see who the “Salah” is, and who stands behind him.

¶ 03 One last point before I conclude, Hon. Presiding Member. Three governments ruled the country after this attack. However, without leaving this responsibility to the next government, during the first term of the National People’s Power government itself we will resolve this matter and ensure justice for those victims — for the Christian community — and with that declaration, I remain silent. Thank you very much for the time given to me.
