¶ 01 Was there an undeclared asset increase of Rs. 100 billion? Not only that. The building in Maligawatte they showed Madush had no floors when he left the country. So they go to show an incomplete building.

¶ 02 We also saw claims that Madush had revealed about those involved in these rackets and that the names of 80 politicians were suppressed and covered up by Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Even today, those remain secret. That is how they hid things. So they might be wondering why their fate did not befall others. No, that fate will not avoid those who deserve it. Those who expose things will bring them to light, and tomorrow the whole country will know whose misdeeds they were. That is why they are in a panic today. We say, no problem, keep flailing like a crab in shallow water, keep panicking. But we emphasize that no one will be allowed to escape the law.

¶ 03 In particular, this Agreement signed today between the UAE and our country, as I said earlier, is extremely important, a powerful agreement for investments. We emphasize that. As the country gradually moves forward, as foreign remittances rise, as investments rise, when this year’s FDI is up 101 percent compared to last year, and as national income rises, they panic. Those who dream of wearing the crown fear ending up with nothing tomorrow and thus level accusations at our Government. We protect no criminals; we bring them before the law. Moreover, we will uproot the narcotics trade from this country and take all necessary measures as a Government. With that, I conclude.
