¶ 01 Hon. Speaker, I thank the Hon. Minister. When our Coordination Committees meet, we mostly have to intervene to find answers to the failures of these community water projects. Since 2010, many projects still cannot provide drinking water. Large sums have been spent building tanks, but often without even first assessing the water source. This has become a serious issue, causing hardships. Some projects, when revisited, require substantial additional funds. Therefore, we need deeper reviews and possibly intervention with a special panel of engineers. This concerns billions of rupees. We need a thorough inquiry into why these projects failed. There are also reports of funds being siphoned off with the involvement of area MPs and Ministers. A comprehensive audit and investigation is needed. Will you investigate and take swift action? We also need quick answers to the pressing issues now emerging—what steps will you take?
