¶ 01 Hon. Leader of the Opposition, it would be more meaningful if your own union inquired into this. Even your people shouted to send him out, because he is a former employee who was dismissed for taking bribes in public. If needed, I can say whose political side he is on—he is aligned with the MP who fasted at Thummulla. He has recently formed a new union; all other unions oppose him. He cannot enter the CEB. I allowed him into the meeting despite knowing this, considering he claimed to be a unionist. But someone from outside came in and recorded videos improperly to disrupt a cordial discussion. Ask any other union leader present about how we conducted the meeting. Do not bring mere rumours to this House; get the true details first.

¶ 02 When he obstructed, the security officers protecting me removed him—this is visible on videos. He kept trying to barge back in, theatrically. Do not speak without basis. We have informed the police; they will obtain necessary information and take appropriate action.
