¶ 01 Hon. Speaker, I present the -

¶ 02 (i) Annual Report of the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Limited for the year 2024; and (ii) Annual Report of the National Lotteries Board for the year 2024.

¶ 03 I move that these Reports be referred to the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Economic Development and International Relations.

¶ 04 Question put, and agreed to.

¶ 05 Sir, I present the -

¶ 06 (i) Annual Report of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura for the year 2024; (ii) Annual Report of the University of Colombo for the year 2024; (iii) Annual Report of the University of Peradeniya for the year 2024; (iv) Annual Report of the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka for the year 2024; and (v) Annual Report of the Open University of Sri Lanka for the year 2024.

¶ 07 I move that these Reports be referred to the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Education, Manpower and Human Capital.

¶ 08 Question put, and agreed to.

¶ 09 Proclamation made and published in Gazette Extraordinary No. 2481/30 of 28 March 2026 and Schedule thereto, by virtue of the powers vested in the President in terms of Section 2 of the Essential Public Services Act, No. 61 of 1979;

¶ 10 Report on the details pertaining to “Transfers of Allocations through Virement Procedure” from 03 October 2025 to 31 December 2025, in terms of Section 24(4) of the Public Financial Management Act, No. 44 of 2024, and Section 5 of the Appropriation Act, No. 3 of 2025;

¶ 11 Note on Supplementary Allocations from the Development Activities Programme appearing under Expenditure Head No. 240 of the Department of National Budget for the period from 02.02.2026 to 27.02.2026, in terms of Section 6(1) of the Appropriation Act, No. 23 of 2025; and

¶ 12 Order made by the Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education under Section 27(1) read with Section 21 of the Universities Act, No. 16 of 1978 on the recommendation of the University Grants Commission with regard to the establishment of Departments of the Faculty of Arts and Culture of the Eastern University, Sri Lanka and published in Gazette Extraordinary No. 2465/11 of 03 December 2025.
