¶ 01 I wish the Hon. Prime Minister success in undertaking the long-discussed but long-delayed task of reforming the education system for the benefit of all children and society. I pray for the strength and courage to do so. One reason is the increase in mental illnesses and even suicides among children and society, as we frequently see in the news. Recently, we saw even a university student take her life. Many schoolchildren are in depression. Some research reports indicate that aspects of our education system have contributed to such outcomes. Therefore, will you include counselling within the school system under these reforms, and if so, how?
