¶ 04 I have received the following Messages from His Excellency the President.

¶ 05 First Sitting of the Tenth Parliament

¶ 06 In terms of Articles 32(4) and 33 of the Constitution, the first ceremonial sitting of the Tenth Parliament will be held on Thursday, 21st November 2024, at 11.30 a.m., at which the Government’s Policy Statement will be delivered by me. The Gazette notification issued under Article 70 summoning Parliament is annexed for your information.

¶ 07 Public Security Proclamation

¶ 08 In terms of Section 2(3) read with Section 21(2) of the Public Security Ordinance, I hereby inform Parliament that, having considered the necessity of maintaining public order, I have issued an Order calling out all members of the Armed Forces to maintain public order in the areas specified.
